The Fire Safety Awareness & Fire Marshal course is aim at those delegates who have the responsibility for ensuring a workplace or event is evacuated effectively during a fire alert or other emergency procedure requiring mass evacuation. This course includes the following elements:

• The elements of fire
• How fire develops and its effects
• Actions and behaviours of people during a fire
• Overview of Fire Risk Assessment
• Emergency Planning and Evacuation
• Handover considerations when taking over a duty
• Areas and equipment to check for fire safety when on duty
• Correct and safe use of Fire Fighting Equipment
• Practical use of Fire Fighting Equipment

Each delegate will receive course materials detailing the key points covered in the course, and a certificate valid for 3 years. The certificates will be posted within 14 days of the date of the course.
