1 Day – Safe Management of Productions (Film, T.V., Radio, Theatre, etc.)
The Safe Management of Productions is designed to give to give a broad overview of the Health & Safety issues to be considered when making Film, T.V., Radio, Theatre productions, this course will explain why health and safety is needed in production and give practical examples and methods of how it should be managed. The course is principally aimed at Production Exec’s, Producers, Director’s, Production Managers, Location Managers, Studio Managers, Heads of Departments, Production Assistants, etc.
This course includes the following elements:
- A broad overview of the risk management issues to be considered during the making of programmes, including hazard identification, risk assessment and good health and safety management
- The opportunity to analyse and discuss the risk management techniques used on production including hazard identification and risk assessment
- Discuss good health and safety management on location
- Information about risk management policy and procedures, including how productions should interact with their contractors and others
- To provide information about the legal framework
- Roles and responsibilities in production making, both within the production team and those outside the production
- The potential pitfalls of risk management and how these may impact upon the production making process
- Application of risk management principles using real-life case study examples
- How to establish and maintain control through clearly defined occupational risk roles and responsibilities
